Join us, the Sag Harbor Partnership/Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Center, for a very special screening of THE TREE PROPHET, a film celebrating David Milarch's moonshot mission to reverse climate change by cloning and replanting ancient trees all over the world. This radical look at a visionary, his inspiration and his goal is other-worldly, inspiring and timely — and not quite like anything you’ve ever seen.
To add to the magic, the film will be screened inside the beautiful sanctuary of the Christ Episcopal Church of Sag Harbor on December 30th, 2017 at 5pm. Following the film, renowned science author Carl Safina will moderate a brief panel with the filmmakers on ancient trees and the future of climate change.
Please join us after the screening for a cocktails & hors d’oeuvres reception from 6:30pm-8:30pm, catered by Art of Eating, at the historic home of Bob Weinstein and Eric Hensley, a very short walk from the Church. Come celebrate the Cinema and bring in the New Year!
Proceeds from this special event will benefit the restoration of the Sag Harbor Cinema.
Unsold seats will be available for free for students with ID.
OUR COCKTAIL PARTY RECEPTION IS NOW SOLD OUT!
